ABOUT US

Bud to Bloom Yoga grew from one mom’s love and a simple moment of connection. When founder, Sarah, heard her neurodiverse son ask, “Can we do the five-finger breath?” during a difficult moment, she witnessed firsthand the profound impact of yoga on emotional regulation and self-awareness.
At Bud to Bloom Yoga, we help children discover those same tools within themselves using breath, body, and movement to find calm, build confidence, and bloom into their best selves.
All classes are rooted in traditional yoga techniques, aligned with Sonia Sumar’s Yoga for All Abilities Method, designed to enhance development of gross and fine motor skills, communication as well as improvement of body awareness, breath capacity, movement, and flexibility. They are also supported by on-going research from the Get Ready to Learn Program (GRTL).
Sarah is a Certified 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, a Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher, official licensed practitioner of the Sonia Sumar Method and is specially trained to teach children with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

TESTIMONIALS

  • My son and I absolutely loved Sarah's class! She introduced us to a meditation jar that we still use to this day when Emmett is having a tough moment. We use the things he learned from her class everyday.
